Healthy Homemade Chocolate
This is a super quick, super easy, super healthy recipe for homemade chocolate!
Gluten free and dairy free and may be modified for vegans.
Here’s the basic recipe:
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1-2 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
*Honey can be replaced by maple syrup or other sweetener
Instructions:
1. Heat coconut oil in saucepan on low heat until melted.
2. Stir in cocoa powder, honey, and vanilla until smooth.
3. Add nut butter, salt, spices, dried fruit, or chopped nuts if desired.
4. Pour into mold or flat glad container and refrigerate 1 hr.
