Research published by the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology of Ohio State University concludes that stress has important health consequences in viral infections. Stress was associated with increased risk of infection, increased susceptibility and increased symptoms or complications.  

During this pandemic we are encountering unfamiliar territory, so it is NORMAL to have some anxiety. That said, it’s extremely helpful to gain objectivity from these emotions so they do not take over and cause unnecessary distress.
